Derek Palisoul joined RLM | TrialGraphix in 2006 as a Technology Consultant and is based in Dallas, TX. A master of trial presentation software, database management and an expert with digital video, Derek spent several years as a videographer and editing commercials and TV programs.
Over the last 20 years, Derek has consulted on hundreds of cases in federal and state courts including many high-profile pharmaceutical class-actions such as Phen-Fen and Vioxx. He has worked directly for many of the nation’s top litigators at firms such as Norton Rose Fulbright, Williams & Connolly, Arnold & Porter, Finnegan Henderson, Fish & Richardson, Crowell & Moring, and many more.
Derek has led the technology consulting for several notable cases including the ASPCA v. Feld Entertainment matter where he developed innovative technology solutions to capture and present thousands of video clips at trial; Nationwide Diet Drug Litigation where he hot-seated almost 20 trials across the country over a period of seven years; leading DuPont’s defense of Asbestos Litigation; and also representing a variety of clients in many investigations at the International Trade Commission.
Prior to joining RLM, Derek served for seven years as a Litigation Consultant for a trial services group in Houston, Los Angeles, and Dallas. He also worked at Bill Young Productions, one of the nation’s largest television production facilities.
Derek is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, holding a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
